Improvement in vaginal pH1

Significant decrease in composite vaginal pH score compared to placebo1 at week 12

  • Decreased 1.3 points with Vagifem® 10 mcg (versus 0.4 points with placebo; P<.001)1
  • pH score was graded on a 4-point scale: pH<5=0, pH 5-5.49=1, pH 5.5-6.49=2, pH >6.49=3

Significantly improves the cytology of the vaginal epithelium1

Significantly improves vaginal maturation index at week 121

Significant increase in percentage of superficial cells compared to placebo1

Significant decrease in percentage of parabasal cells compared to placebo1
